Call for Paper Abstracts Announced – Abstracts Due January 29th,\u00a02020<\/h3>\n

The future presents new challenges and opportunities for design.\u00a0Those who manage design must equip themselves to confront rapid change on all fronts \u2013 economic, environmental, and social. Research and practice must increasingly collaborate to keep pace with the needs of today and the future.<\/p>\n

The dmi:Academic Design Management Conference #ADMC2020<\/a>\u00a0will explore how design adds value to innovation, competitiveness,<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

and social good. The latest design research and partnerships will be presented to help light a path towards impacting the future by<\/div>\n

The Call for Paper Abstracts is Announced in the Following 6 Conference Tracks:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0Design Research-Led Innovation<\/strong>\u00a0– Design\u2019s Role as a Catalyst for Innovation.<\/p>\n

2.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0Design in the Digital Environment<\/strong>\u00a0– Design Research using Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Interaction, Robotics, Wearables, and Ethics.<\/p>\n

3.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0Design for the Public Good<\/strong>\u00a0– Design Research for Health, Wellness, Universal Design, Environment, Sustainability, Transportation, Public Sector, and Education.<\/p>\n

4.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0Design Leadership<\/strong>\u00a0– Design Management Futures, Organization Design \/ Transformation, Design Research Surrounding Internal Processes in the Area of Design Thinking, and Leadership.<\/p>\n

5.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0Business – Design and Design Management for Economic Growth<\/strong>\u00a0– Design Research-led Work for Products, Services, Business Models.<\/p>\n

6.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0Open Track For Papers That Do Not Directly Fit Themed Tracks<\/strong>\u00a0– Eg. Fashion, Architecture, Service Design, Etc.<\/p>\n
