ADIM 2019 Complementary Places and Full BURSARIES for Early Career Researchers from the Global South countries
Call for support Early Career Researchers from developing countries
The Academy for Design Innovation Management (ADIM) Conference operates as a platform for knowledge creation, collaboration and advancement across a diverse range of Design Innovation and Design Management discipline areas. The conference attracts speakers and attendees from across the globe, including recognised industry professionals, international scholars and emerging researchers operating in the creative, commercial and service industries. Early career researchers play a pivotal role in the development of new research, and make a significant contribution to the advancement of design innovation management as a discipline. Unfortunately, the opportunity to travel to conferences is not equally distributed amongst researchers. At the ADIM 2019 conference we would like to ensure equal opportunities for contribution to the conference topics, by providing bursaries for early career researchers less able to afford the costs related to attending a conference. The aim of such bursaries is to specifically encourage early career researchers from developing countries to apply and attend the conference.
By sponsoring the fund, you will provide an opportunity for an early career researcher to attend the conference, present their research and gain feedback on their work, as well as network with other design innovation scholars and possibly forge exciting, new research partnerships. 100% of your donation will be used to fund the travel, accommodation and conference fees. The suggested sponsorship level is £2000 enabling one person to attend. For more information, please contact Erik Bohemia(erik.bohemia@designinnovationmanagement.com).
